First Tee-Howard County and the Howard County Public School System have partnered on a number of initiatives for students, all with the goal of helping promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. We are proud to:

• Promote interscholastic girls golf.
• Operate the School Program in selected elementary schools with physical education teachers and students. First Tee-Howard County's objective is to have the School Program in every elementary school in the next five years.
• Have developed an allied golf program as part of the school system's adapted sports and physical education program.
• Offer programs for students in grades 3-5 through the Black Student Achievement Program.
