Scholarships
First Tee-Howard County has scholarship opportunities for participants in the Life Skills and Leadership program. As participants reach levels of certification, they are eligible to apply for scholarship opportunities. We hope that many participants will benefit from these programs.
Class Policies
Students are placed in a program based on the age they will be on the first day of class (we are unable to make exceptions to this policy). The age groupings are 5-6, 7-9, 10-11, 12-13, and 14+ (high school students).
Upcoming Sessions
Registration will open on May 2 for our Summer 2024 Session, which begins on July 8. Stay tuned for details. Spring Session begins on April 12, and all classes are full. Learn more about registration here.
Program Overview
Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. This emphasis on life skills, in addition to the game of golf, is what makes our program so unique from other youth sports programs.
Keep the Fun Going with First Tee App
The First Tee App includes games and challenges that will reinforce the concepts experienced during class and bring them to life in new ways! Kids and teens will earn badges and points as they complete activities within the App, motivating them to keep going, and tracking their progress over time.
